Adaption To Platform and Improvements
The Book appointment Button on the Header is a Quick Access for the desktop site so that the user at any point move to the Appointment booking section of the website in one click.
The 3 dots on the Bottom act as a Quick Access for Mobile Site. Like the book appointment button this button will always be visible to the user so that the user can move to the Appointment booking section of the website in two click.
User Centered Design
- Better Booking Experience: When a User is trying to book an appointment we should ensure a smooth flow and quick steps.
- Clear Information Visibility: The target user group lies above the ages 30 not that much tech advanced hence the website should have quick access. Also information about doctors and testimonials should be clear.
- Out Dated Design: Although the design is made for older age groups the website should be interactive and have a modern essence.
- Social Media Connect: Connecting the website to a social media handle helps to direct interested customers.
Impact
Conclusion
The redesigned website successfully addressed the initial usability challenges, offering a more structured and accessible user journey. The integration of the booking platform streamlined the user experience, while the new design system improved the site's aesthetics and readability. Despite the time limitations, the use of Wix enabled the rapid development of a functional and visually engaging website. This project demonstrated the importance of balancing design, accessibility, and efficiency within tight deadlines while ensuring an optimal user experience.
